Rodrigo Saiani is teacher, founder, and creative director at Plau Design:

"I studied business administration but interned in the communication department of a consultancy, where I created interactive presentations in Flash. Early on, I felt the need to learn more about design, layout, and composition. Typography seemed like a fundamental aspect to understanding everything else. From there, I started investing in my typographic learning by studying books, learning from more experienced designer friends, and actively seeking knowledge.

At the intersection of typography and business, the field of branding and visual identity caught my attention, and that's the path I decided to follow. I always aimed to create logos by designing my own letters, which later expanded into creating typefaces."
