“When it comes to creating enduring brand value, understanding culture is the key. Culture is both a language to learn, and a system to pay your respects to. Brands aren’t the main character of the story—they’re just an influence within a larger network. The most effective strategists and designers help brands meaningfully contribute to the communities around them. Those who understand their distinct role in the system will simply outperform those that don’t.”
His work has been presented at the White House and the Kennedy Center and recognized by the New York Times, Communication Arts, It’s Nice That, the Webby’s, Highsnobiety, AdAge, et al.
Alex is the host of the Green Supper, and founder of Good Measure︎︎︎, a community-oriented pop-up creative agency that hosts projects across the United States. He has a dog named Wilt Chamberlain, and considers himself lucky to work with kind and smart people.
