We will cover the fundamentals of typography, including its theory, practice and technology. We will explore both analog and digital image making techniques and delve into the concepts of colors, shapes, and patterns. We will explore how these elements serve as the foundation for creating visually compelling designs.
Hierarchy and contrast in layouts.
We will focus on creating engaging layouts using visual contrast and hierarchy. We will learn how to use scale, weight, texture, rhythm and space in a composition.
Foster presentation skills.
Students will have the opportunity to speak about their work created during the course, discussing the design process, the concepts behind their work, and the techniques used. This will allow students to articulate their design choices and receive valuable feedback.
